Christmas time with Matthew’s Hub

Christmas is coming, but we don’t need to remind you about that! You probably see all the festive decorations around you and are getting ready for the big day!

This can be very exciting, but also sometimes overwhelming, so we would like to recommend you read an article written by the National Autistic Society on how to prepare for this special time. You will find there are a lot of useful links to resources that will help you make this period as stress-free as possible.

Christmas party

No Christmas is complete without Matthew’s Hub Christmas party! We would like to invite all our members for a little celebration. Don’t forget to wear your Christmas jumper if you have one.  There will be a special Christmas Quiz and a selection of hot and cold food.

The Adult Christmas party will be on 11th December at Clarendon Pub, 1-5 Londesborough Street, Hull: 5pm-7pm.

Our young people’s Christmas Party will be on 15 December at Danny’s Dream, The Octagon Hull: 4:45pm-6:45pm

There will be food, refreshments, games, and a Christmas quiz!

Christmas break

Our last working day in 2023 is the 22nd of December. We will be back in the office on 2nd January 2024! If you will struggle during Christmas, please contact The Samaritans on 116123 or the NHS on 111.
