Getting to the venue

  • Travelling by car From Holderness Road, turn into Laburnum Avenue and drive approx 200m. The entrance is on the left and is clearly signposted. There is a long drive with a speed limit of 5 mph. Limited parking is available next to the building - there are approx. 20 spaces. Alternative car parking is available on Laburnum Avenue and Village Road.
  • Travelling by bus There are several bus routes which travel along Holderness Road. Please refer to Stagecoach or East Yorkshire Buses to plan your journey. From a nearby Holderness Road bus stop, head down Laburnum Avenue until you reach the site entrance on the left.

Please Note: There is no pedestrian or vehicle access directly from Holderness Road.

Refreshments

Attendees are welcome to bring their own tea/coffee supplies and use the kitchen facilities at the venue. Please note that lunch is not provided.

Building details and accessibility

Please be aware that this venue is a historic house and the grounds have several uneven areas. The main access to the house is via a stone staircase. There is also a disabled lift. If you have any accessibility or learning needs, please email training@matthewshub.org. We will liaise with the facilitating trainer and the venue staff to see what accommodations can be put in place for you.
