Matthew’s Hub members can access one to one emotional wellbeing support sessions that develop skills to help deal with anxiety or low mood.
Sessions are taken by Katie, our Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner.
The initial meeting is arranged between Katie and the member to discuss and assess what support is needed. Together, a plan of support is made based around the members individual needs. If it is decided that additional support is required we will help make appropriate referrals to other support services.
We offer two types of courses:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based interventions which explore thoughts, feelings, and how these affect people’s behaviour.
- The Mindfulness course explores practical techniques that can be used to reduce anxiety i.e. breathing techniques and meditation.
