Think you might be Autistic or have ADHD?

Here's some information about how to access assessments

Matthew’s Hub cannot provide assessments, but we have collected some useful links to signpost you to the right information. Please note, these details are for people living in Hull and East Yorkshire region.

Adults Autism

To access an assessment, you will need to book an appointment with your GP and ask them to refer you to the Humber Adult Autism Diagnostic Service (HAADS). Before your GP appointment it is useful to prepare a list of examples of difficulties you’ve had in adulthood and childhood with:

  • need for routine
  • sensory difficulties

For full information please visit the HAADS website

Adults ADHD

To access an assessment, you will need to book and appointment with your GP and then you’ll need to use a service called Right to Choose. The ADHD UK website provides a helpful step-by-step guide, including a downloadable form and letter and more information about the diagnostic pathway.

For full information please visit the ADHD UK website

Children Under 18 - Autism and ADHD
